Location

 

We are situated in our beautiful residential retreat center in the "Green Belt" region of Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada on 2.56 acres of conservation zoned land. We are surrounded by trees and nearby farms, yet only 5 minutes from shopping and amenities. You may enjoy the sights and sounds of a great variety of birds, hawks, Canada geese and wild life.

Arrivals​​​ & Departures

 

Residential / For Out-of-town Students

Arrive the night before the program begins. If possible arrange your travel schedule to arrive in the late-afternoon or evening (between 5:00 and 8:00 PM). Allow yourself enough time to get settled in and comfortable the day before your program begins. If your travel schedule makes it necessary for you to arrive earlier or later than this, please let us know and we will make sure there is someone here to greet and orient you.

Non-Residential / For Local Students Commuting:

Arriving the morning the program begins, allow yourself enough time to get settled in and be ready for when class starts.

Departures:

For certification programs, schedule your departure after class on the last day of each module/program. It is necessary to complete the full schedule in order to complete all the hours required for certification.​

 

 

​​​What to Bring to Class​​

 

  • ​​​​​​Yoga mat

  • Meditation cushion - optional

  • Water bottle

  • Notebook and writing materials

 

We provide bolsters, blankets, blocks, and straps. Optional mat rental $2 per class/day.

We have a three private rooms available on-site, and a larger dorm room that has a few beds (first come first serve): 

  • Deluxe Private $80 per night

  • Private $70 per night 

  • Semi-Private (2 single beds) $50 each per night 

 

Private and semi-private rooms fill up early. Register in advance to ensure availability.​


**Note: We offer accommodations at very affordable rates to our participants. In order to maintain our inexpensive rates, participants are kindly asked to clean up after themselves and contribute to maintaining the cleanliness of the space during their stay.**​

 

 

Meals

Kitchen On-Site

 

There is a kitchen on-site for students who wish to prepare their own meals.

 

The kitchen is equipped with:

  • fridge with freezer on top 

  • 4-burner gas stove

  • toaster oven

  • toaster

  • blender

  • cutlery and/or chopsticks

  • dishes, glasses, cups

  • cooking utensils; pots and pans

  • kettle 

  • We do not have a microwave for health reasons.


There are grocery and health food stores as well as a variety of restaurants within biking or 6-minute driving distance.

 

**On the last day of a program students are kindly asked to remove all remaining food and clean the fridge and kitchen as in the condition that you found it.**​
