FAQ: Is there an overlap between the SAMT and SAYT courses?

Yes. Module 1 (day 1) and Module 2 (days 2 and 3) covers material that is essential to both programs.

SAYT is tailored to those who do not have a bodywork background and/or do not wish to include a lot hands-on work in their practice; however there is some basic/essential hands-on work. SAYT teaches how to apply the Therapeutic Alignment Principles and techniques specifically for yoga and movement related applications.

SAMT is tailored to those who do not necessarily practice or teach yoga. SAMT teaches how to apply the Therapeutic Alignment Principles and techniques specifically for bodywork and manual therapy application.
