Do I need to have yoga experience to benefit from this course?
The Structural Alignment Yoga Therapy course includes basic yoga postures and essential exercises that anyone can do. These therapeutic exercises can be incorporated into any form of movement or exercise regime, including yoga, fitness, Pilates, and sports. The yoga postures and exercises in this course are taught with biomechanically optimal Therapeutic Alignment Principles that transform pain to pain free. While the course title says 'Yoga" Therapy, this is mainly to distinguish from this course from the 'Manual" Therapy version of the course that is designed for bodyworkers.
When does the course start and finish?
You are able to access the course content anytime! It is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish.
How long do I have access to the course?

The plan is: once you have enrolled in the course by Thursday, April 28th, you have one week to watch the videos/lectures in module 1. The following Tuesday, May 5th we will have our first online meetings to discuss the first module together.
You have one week to process the lectures prior to each meeting. This way you will be prepared to discuss what you learned, ask questions, offer your insights, be quizzed, with the ultimate goal of making sure everyone is clear on what was covered in each module.
The first module will be discussed May 5th.
The second module will be discussed May 12th.
The third module will be discussed May 19th.
The fourth module will be discussed May 26th.
For those who wish to receive a "Certificate" Participation in all four zoom meetings is required for certification. In addition, participants must submit their completed quiz (downloadable PDF in module 1) which can be done at your convenience in your own time.
