Our certified yoga teachers are trained in therapeutic applications of yoga that will elevate, and deepen, your practice. We welcome all genders, ages, orientations, colours and faiths. Class sizes are limited to provide quality personalized attention.

*Functional Yoga and Gentle Flow & Rest permit maximum 8 per class - please register in advance.

  • 6-Class Packages are to be used up within 8 weeks. You may attend and make-up classes in other time slots during your 8-week period. If the 8 weeks have passed with classes still unused, your package will not expire; instead it will be switched to Drop-In classes according to above rates.

Class Descriptions

Functional Yoga | Yoga & TRX

This class is a form of "self-health therapy" to improve bone-density, strength, flexibility, and specifically to address muscle and postural imbalances with functional exercises and yoga postures, incorporating TRX suspension straps, and ending with relaxation. 

Maximum 8 participants per class. Preregistration required.

Gentle Flow & Rest Yoga | Restorative

Gentle Flow & Rest Yoga is a gentle therapeutic yoga class for students of all ages, and for any level of mobility and ability. Experience the healing benefits of gentle stretches, guided meditation and relaxation, pranayama (yoga breathing), and restorative postures. The use of bolsters, blankets and props allow for ultimate comfort which assist in deep rest and relaxation.

Meditation, Pranayama and Restorative yoga are scientifically proven to cultivate emotional calm, and provide profound healing benefits to the nervous system for a wide range of health conditions.

This class is ideal for those seeking relaxation and stress‐management, for people with limited mobility, and/or for people in recovery. Not recommended for pregnancy because many postures are done in the supine position which may be contraindicated for pregnancy.


Maximum 8 participants per class. Preregistration required.

Hatha Basics

For Beginners and experienced beginners. 
This level is between our 'Intro to Yoga' and Hatha Flow.

Enjoy warm ups, sun salutations, fundamental hatha yoga postures and breathing exercises - perhaps a short meditation - and final relaxation.

Hatha Flow

For experienced beginners. 

Participate in a more amped-up pace and moderately vigorous flow and sequencing of postures. Enjoy a final relaxation to soothe your soul at the end of the day. 

Yin Yoga

For beginners and all levels. Yin yoga is a meditative slow-paced style of yoga where poses are held for longer periods of time, ranging from 1 to 5 minutes, or depending on the pose, that cultivates inner awareness. This passive stretching is said to moderately stress connective tissues of the body with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.

Attending Your First Class: 

Please arrive a few minutes before class and complete a registration form. Or, you may print the Registration Form PDF and complete it beforehand and bring it with you.

Yoga is Non-Competitive

Do not compete or compare your yoga practice to others. Each of us has a unique physical, emotion, mental and spiritual makeup, which is determined by our genetics, lifestyle, diet and environment, as well as our attitudes and beliefs about life and our purpose for being here. Therefore our health and fitness capabilities, preferences and requirements are unique and personal. Celebrate! You are a special human being and there is no one exactly like you! Honor and listen to your body.


Practice on an Empty Stomach

We recommend that you wait at least three hours after eating before practicing yoga. If absolutely necessary, have juice or fruit, or very light food that will digest quickly enough prior to class.Sip water as needed during class. Drink plenty of water after class as needed.


Disconnect from the Outside World - Reconnect with Your Inner World

Turn off your cell phone and/or leave all cell phones and mobile devices outside the yoga room. This is for your peace of mind and wellbeing as well as those around you.


What to Bring:

It is preferable for you to have your own sticky-mat. Yoga mats can be purchased at most department stores. (We have a few spare yoga mats in case.)


What to Wear:

Dress in something light and comfortable that is easy to breath and move in such as casual clothing that gives you full range of motion.  We recommend wearing clothing such as for exercise: a tank top or t-shirt; and shorts, yoga pants or tights. Keep in mind that you do not want your top or T-shirt to be very baggy so that it does not fall in your face when you bend over.
