Did you know that a plant-based whole foods diet has been scientifically proven to optimize your health, and may also play an important supporting role in preventing and reversing a variety of illnesses, including cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and other chronic health conditions?

Eating plant-based foods is also making a powerful and positive impact on our environment and our planet's future! 

Join us and learn to cook delicious dishes that are immune-boosting, anti-inflammatory, naturally detoxifying and cleansing, while providing an abundance of energy and clarity. 

Classes are only offered occasionally due to Karen's full schedule serving osteopathy patients

Learn to make a complete balanced meal to boost your immunity, detox your blood and organs, and nourish your heart and soul! 

Menu: Gingered Vegetable Miso Soup with Wakame & Tofu, Brown Rice,
Adzuki Beans & Buttercup Squash, Arame Sea Vegetables with Carrots & Onions, Oriental Cabbage Quick Pickles, Steamed Broccoli, Lemon Miso Tahini

Saturday December 5th, 2026

Learn to make family favorite vegan recipes that are easy to prepare, with simple ingredients, and most importantly, delicious!

Menu: Baked Macaroni & “Cheese” with Walnut-Pecan Crumble Topping;
Edamame & Mushroom Patties, with Lemon Garlic Aioli;
Mushrooms & Rapini Pasta, with Parsnip-Cashew Cream Sauce;
Vegetable Fried Rice, with Red Lentil Coconut Curry.

  • Registration:

All Natural & Organic Ingredients
  • We use the highest quality plant-based ingredients.

  • We do not use any dairy or egg products, sugar or honey. Also gluten-free. 

  • For desserts and sweeteners we use pure maple syrup. We may also use rice syrup, coconut sugar, and/or birch-bark-sugar.

In Person Cooking Classes Includes:
  • Handouts of the recipes.

  • Tastings of the recipes made in class.

Online Cooking Classes Includes:
  • You will also receive the recipes by email in PDF format (upon registration, and once the class is confirmed to run).

  • Cooking classes include demonstration of the recipes on Zoom. Optional student participation at home, or simply watch and learn. 

  • Feel free to interact, ask questions along the way!

Cooking Class Examples:

Tofu & Tempeh Transformations Cooking Class

  • Learn to make 5 vegan tofu and tempeh recipes that are easy to prepare, with simple ingredients, and most importantly, delicious! Menu:  Herb-Crusted Pan-Fried Tofu, Tofu Spinach Lasagna, Baked Tofu Souvlaki, Tofu Tzatziki, Garam Masala Roasted Tempeh with Orange Ginger Sauce.

Delicious Plant-Based Proteins 

  • Menu: Brazilian Black Beans, Chickpea Curry, Lentil Mushroom Walnut Patties, Asian Tempeh, Ginger Tofu.

Divine Desserts

  • Learn to make incredible desserts without eggs, butter, and sugar, using healthy replacements like flax, maple syrup and vegan ingredients.

Medicinal Cooking for Wellness

  • Natural Detox Immunity Boost Menu: Brown Rice with Black Sesame Gomashio; Miso Soup with Shiitake, Squash, Tofu & Wakame; Arame with Carrots & Onions; Tempeh & Leeks. 

Seasonal Cooking Spring & Summer 

  • Learn to balance your meals with the changes in weather to optimize your health and wellbeing, and ease the transition including weather-related common health issues.

Seasonal Cooking Autumn & Winter

  • Learn to balance your meals with the changes in weather to optimize your health and wellbeing, and ease the transition including weather-related common health issues.

  • Menu: vegan cheese and yogurt from scratch​​ 

 

Veggie Sushi Rolling Cooking Class 

  • Menu: sushi rolls with veggie fillings 2 ways - Nori Maki and California Roll.​

Vegan Cooking International:  

  • Asian: General Tso's Tofu, Orange Tempeh, Stir Fried Jasmine Rice and Vegetables, Japanese Arame Salad. 

  • Italian: Vegan Lasagna with Tofu "Riccotta", Roasted Eggplant and Zucchini layers, and Bechamel Topping, Karen's famous Herb Roasted Potatoes, and Mediterranean salad.​
