“I’ve been a Corporate Wellness Provider and Wellness Consultant for over 15 years, and I’ve been very blessed to have met and know many wonderful healers, fitness instructors, and wellness-health providers. Not long after my mother and two other family members passed away, also had to move from the place where I Iived for 20 years. I was sad, grieving, very depressed, and needed to find a way to re-gain inner strength to do my wellness work for other people, and more importantly to bring wellness back into my own life.

While I was searching for the "Just right blend” of wellness nurturing that would help me professionally and personally, my long time colleague, Karen Claffey, was offering her Wellness Consultant course for the first time. Ironically Karen’s course was designed to give me the addtional wellness education and nurturing I needed for myself and my work for her course had some teachings of yoga, ayurvedic and macrobiotic cooking and for healing, meditation breathing techniques, chakras, in addition Karen's  knowledge mixed with her sense of humour made her delivery as entertaining as it was insightful.

I acquired a deeper understanding of yoga and a more mindful state. The experience helped me have some peace of mind which brought me closer to my own wellness, and subsequently helped me connect back to my own work providing wellness to others. I recommend Karen’s Wellness Consultant Course to those who want to learn, enhance, or broaden their understanding of yoga, meditation and breathing, cooking /healing foods, or general wellness.

Wishing you well, and to Be-well,

"As a graduate of Karen Claffey’s Vegetarian Cooking Institute, I highly recommend her cooking classes and certification program to anyone who is interested in learning more about how to lovingly prepare nutritious, delicious and creative recipes. Karen has much experience and knowledge to offer to her students and is truly passionate about that which she teaches. Karen and Sylvia’s approach place an emphasis on being mindful, and attentive to the nature of the foods that we choose to eat and use in our recipes. This program has certainly prepared me well for this industry, and has encouraged me to put the skills that I have learnt into practise. It has also inspired me to venture out and explore, and continue learning and expanding my expertise in this domain. I just ran my first cooking class in Montreal, and was highly encouraged to do so by Karen. I absolutely loved running the cooking class and will be running more cooking classes, applying the knowledge that I have learnt while studying with Karen and Sylvia.

Thank you Karen & Sylvia for being such wonderful teachers! I appreciate it.

Sincerely, Sabrina Allarie"
